Seufert advised HCM SE on a bidding process for the sale of Kliniken Leipziger Land GmbH. Sana Kliniken AG was the successful bidder.
The two hospitals of Kliniken Leipziger Land, located in Bornau and Zwenkau, will be part of Sana Kliniken AG as of January 2015. 12 units led by medical superintendents operate 490 hospital beds where more than 26,000 patients per year receive in-patient treatment. Confidentiality about the purchase price was agreed.
At the beginning of this year Seufert had already advised HCM SE, which acted as temporary owner of Kliniken Leipziger Land, on the acquisition of the two hospitals.
The now repeated change of shareholders is still subject to the consent of the German Cartel Authority.
