Seufert advises the Peine District on the joint acquisition of Klinikum Peine gGmbH with the City of Peine from AKH Celle. The takeover of the Klinikum Peine gGmbH and rescue of the hospital with around 660 employees occurs out of insolvency. The District and City of Peine provide around 30 million euros at short notice to secure the hospital. The hospital, which was privatised years ago, will thus return to municipal ownership on 1 October 2020.
