Students of the University of Regensburg (Prof. Kingreen) visit the 5th Senate of the State Social Court with Seufert

Once again, social and health law students of the University of Regensburg visited Munich with Professor Thorsten Kingreen on 15 December 2015 to see the practical application of social law.

Seufert Senior Partner Rechtsanwalt Dr. Christoph Seiler and three other lawyers from Seufert's health law practice accompanied the group. The programme again this year included attending a hearing of the 5th Senate of the State Social Court Munich, lunch together with the Senate and a discussion in the offices of Seufert Rechtsanwälte.

Following the visit to the State Social Court, the judges of the 5th Senate discussed the cases heard with the students and the lawyers. The group was also personally welcomed by the Vice-president of the State Social Court Jürgen Michels and the press officer of the State Social Court RiLSG Christiane Rohrmoser and introduced to the organisation of the social courts and the careers of the social judges.

After lunch, the group participated in an informative visit to the law firm's offices. The lawyers explained the law firm's structure, their work in health care and their personal careers.

The students were able to form an impression of the professional life as a lawyer and the work in the practice of social and health care law.

Seufert Rechtsanwälte thanks Prof. Kingreen, the Vice President of the State Social Court and the judges of the 5th Senate and not least the students for the interesting discussions.
